Simon Skafu (24)
Simon is from the Western Cape and has been with the FBF since 1999.
He has always been a very responsible young man and due to his dedication and
hard work he was chosen as one of the Norwegian exchange students in 2001. On
his return from Norway he served his one-year dedication period in the Foundation.
At the same time the Foundation allocated a bursary to him to follow a bridging
course at the University of Stellenbosch.
Should the Tennessee State University programme work out he is our first choice
student to benefit from this opportunity. Simon is a trombonist.

financial challenges took himself off to the Technicon

made him eligible as the second candidate for the
Tennessee University programme. |
